[Korean]We Got Married

I like this Korean show 'We Got Married' . They invite some artists to form as couple in group and have to live together towards the show. It contributes a lot of funs. Some couples in this shows are adorable, especially the 'lettuce couple' Hyunjoong & Hwangbo and Alex & Shinae couple. Lettuce couple are funny, the bride is older than the bridegroom but they are energetic in competiting each other in sport games. Then, Alex & Shinae couple are very romantic. Alex is given a nickname as professor romantic, he have many romantic ways to attract his bride and he also open a concert for her wife in the show.

One of the easily get in arguement group, Crown J & Inyeong. Both of them are pop stars. Good in rap. Most of the time, you can see them fight with each others. Two different people that have their own living style gotta live together. It is a sure that they must have vary opinions sometimes. Crown J & Inyeong fight when cooking instant noodle. Crown J want to put in noodle first but Inyeong want him to put in the noodle after the water is boiled. It is a realistic show. People always fight by the little things like eating. You may have your self living style or cooking style but you need to find a way so you can stay together longer. This couple always fight, but the show is still on. They have to continue their married life by tolerate with each other. It is the same situation when we comes into real life. If you are married, how do you resolved the problem within you and the other half?

I thought Andy & Solbi are the most romantic couple but my friends said Alex & Shinae is better. From my view, i think Andy & Solbi is too much. They are more based in acting whereas, the other couple is more realistic. One story for Alex & shinae have to take care of the 4 babies. It is a difficult job for them where they are not the real couple and not having their own baby in real life though. Although it is just one part of the mission on show, they still perform well and act like a couple in realistic. Both wife and husband trying hard to make the babies stop crying , play with them to make them happy, bathing the babies, feed them and the wife look after the babies while husband do cooking... It is totaly a happy family, so warm and sweet.

A funny part from Shinae in episod 26 part 1. Look at minute 5.55. She talks to the 12 months old baby:' If you don't like cheese, then say you hate it . "Give me the rice cracker" ,why can't you say it. ' hahaha~ looks silly a bit !

Dunkin's Donut Goes Green

Most of the coffee and baked food franchise construct a green project. See how Dunkin's Donut goes green.

The St. Petersburg restaurant is built in the Dunkin’ Donuts flagship model design and features include: energy-efficient insulated concrete foam walls to reduce air conditioning usage by approximately 40%, energy-efficient lighting, including motion sensors for restrooms and offices, water-efficient plumbing fixtures, low-flush toilets, and the usage of well water rather than potable water for all irrigation.

Marking the company’s foray into building and operating environmentally friendly facilities, the location’s green initiatives include recycling programs involving worm casting and food donations to the local food bank. Green cleaning is also being practiced at the store.

It looks like Starbucks is in for some competition in the green image arena. While that company has a history of sustainable actions, earlier this month U.K. newspaper The Sun reported that the purveyor of coffee was wasting up to 6 million gallons of water each day in its stores. The company has since stated that it has changed policies–water used to rinse utensils will now be turned off between rinsings, rather than constantly running during business hours as had previously been done.

kindergarden life

Mum find out some old photos when clearing those parcels in garage. We have not open up those boxes since we moved back from KL 13 years ago. Sometimes, feel missing myself. Am i a big city girl in KL or a small town girl in Ipoh? What would i be if i live in KL and never move to Ipoh? Will i have a totaly different lifestyle like now? Will i met those good friends in Ipoh again? Lost in my own thinking. Anyway, if i have a chance to make a change in my life. I rather choose the life that i have walked through. I want to meet those people i know here and live in the same place. I just need to have a simple life.

I am not that remember what happened on that day but i knew my kindergarden life is full of joy. Every month, teachers organized a birthday party to celebrate with those who are birthday in that particular month. Then, all students will gather together to have games or singing or dancing. The photo shows the celebrating for birthday kids in March. It was captured in Lai Meng Kindergarden School , Jalan Amplang, KL. I can't recognized those kindergarden mates. Although one or two of them looks so familiar to me , i still don't know their name. I think we all seperated when move to primary school.

Look ! This girl is so cruel!! ahahah ~ ORZ~ Donald Duck, one of the famous cartoon characters on that century. He even act as a main character in the birthday cake.

Izima Kaoru art works

Izima Kaoru , born in 1954, Kyoto. Since 1993 the Japanese photographer Izima Kaoru has been creating scenes of sophisticated violence and enchanting horror. Landscapes with a Corpse is the title of his project. He invited actresses and models to reveal to him their fantasies about a perfect death: above all he asked them which designer clothes they would like to wear when they died. And so the photos that show the crime scene (or that of natural death) do not allude to something fatal and irreversible but a kind of elegant and highly aesthetic ceremony.

Right : 'Landscape with a corpse'

I like those photos he took. Those model looks cool lying down like a dead object. Am i abnormal?

Think Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
As well as aiming to raise funds, it also serves as a platform for the various breast cancer charities to inform and offer support to those affected as well as to increase awareness, helping people recognise the importance of early detection.

Have you noticed the pink ribbons? Ya, The pink ribbon is associated with the breast cancer awareness campaign. Why pink? well, my guess is that pink is normally associated with women. And also, there is this phrase that goes "in the PINK of health" ??
So its just obvious that we are now encouraging people to think pink.

It delights me when pink is THE color. Because since the campaign, i can't get my eyes off the internet browsing for more pink stuffs!! They are so pretty!! The color is soft and sweet and although pink is not my favourite color, as a female i still adore stuffs in pink. ;)

Many organizations have pledged themselves to this campaign and pledged to donate some percentage of their revenue to contribute to the research for breast cancer, which indeed is a noble act. Estee Lauder and Avon are amongst those that have been active promoting and pledging for the cause. Aside from them, many designers as well as individuals have come up with variety of stuffs in pink especially for the cause and they are all such an eye candy.

College H

Poor college, not even have a compound to let college's staffs and students sit to have home made meal and relax. Although bringing your own meal to school is not that familiar after formal education, it still a need to have place where others can enjoy chit chat or having a cup of tea or eat some snack. Besides, it we prepare our own meal, we can control the diet by having a home made meal. It is to build up a healthy lifestyle. We should encourage this kind of lifestlye. Why not the college? None! You can see all the notice stated on wall and classroom warning you not to bring in food or drinks. I can understand that students are not allowed to bring in food or drinks to the lab or classroom but my point is, can you give us a space for relaxing? Some of the college do not have vending machine. You know what, a small univisity located in a suburb 2 hrs car distance from Brisbane. There also have many vending machine in front of library, lecture hall and so on. What about a college located at town in Malaysia? URGH! I really miss the study environment in Australia.

Back to the story. There is no free compound for you to hang around during tea time in college. Finally, you have to move to the cafe' . Once you sit at the cafe' it is sure that waiter are going to take order from you. Yea, at least you have to order a drinks, otherwise you are not allowed to sit at their cafe'. If there is like a hawker center (food court) then you can bring in your pre-packaged meal from home whereas if that is operate like a restaurant, never bring outside meal to a restaurant ! You might have reply by a black face from the waiter or restaurant owner. I sms to my best friend who just came back from Perth. I complaint about the poor facilities and the study environment in most of the college here. I agree with my friend, she said, most of the college now is just thinking how to earn more money rather than doing education work. It's great that my friend and i are having a same point of view. I like what her saying too. We really have to thanks our parents whom send us to a better college plus university.
